Our objective is provide foodservice professionals with quality products that perform beyond expectation. 

We have always had a passion for good design, design that stands the test of time and has longevity. This philosophy and level of detail have always been an important factor and at the heart of everything we do since Alfred Mitchell & Arthur Cooper started as silversmiths and engravers in 1879 in East London. To this day Mitchell & Cooper remains a family-owned business that stays true to the high standards that began with its founders.

The same applies to the service we deliver to our customers.  Quality is at the heart of M&C's processes along with maxime safety requirements. The company has just one goal and that is customer satisfaction. ISO9000 compliant since 1993, currently BS EN ISO9001:2015. 


Our customers have high standards and expectations when it comes to Ethics and we need to ensure we meet those expectations. We are members of Sedex, Sedex is a global not-for-profit membership organisation which is the world’s largest collaborative platform for sharing responsible sourcing data on supply chains. We regularly visit our Suppliers and conduct Site Inspections & Audits to ensure their compliance to our standards.


The management of Mitchell & Cooper Ltd operates an integrated environmental, health and safety management system, which is geared towards the identification and control of key processes in our organisation. It is also our intention to encompass environmental, health & safety best practice into our business activities and decisions.
